Jacob B. Schlosser

Jacob joins Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first year summer student, returned for his second summer and will article with the firm in 2019-2020. He is a Juris Doctor candidate at Queen’s University, where he is an active member of the Queen’s Labour and Employment Club and a Volunteer Editor for the Queen’s Law Journal. With his partner, Jacob won third prize in Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition, held at Osgoode Hall.

Prior to law school, Jacob completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at York University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. At York, Jacob was involved in social psychological research and conducted two research studies examining attitudes and prejudice. The results of his research have been presented at an international psychology conference and published in a peer-reviewed academic journal. Jacob was also a Peer Assisted Study Session Leader teaching statistics to other undergraduate students.

In his spare time, Jacob enjoys travelling, reading short story collections and attending concerts.
