Michael Worona

Students

Michael joins Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first-year summer student in 2025. He is a juris doctor candidate at Western Law and a graduate of the Schulich School of Business at York University (Honours). At Western, Michael is deeply involved in his community, volunteering with the legal clinics and serving as a student ambassador. He’s passionate about helping guide other first-generation students into the field of law, a path he’s navigating himself.

Before law school, Michael played semi-professional soccer, but eventually hung up his boots to focus on academics. He now gives back to the sport by volunteering and coaching youth teams at the same club where he once played.

When he’s not immersed in academics or soccer, Michael wants to learn how to ride a motorcycle and is determined to get his license before the summer (not if Rhonda Cohen can help it). As for his love of sports, well, Michael may be a bit delusional, but he’s convinced this year belongs to Leafs Nation!

Michael is bilingual – English/Polish.
