Jacquelyn Smalley

Jacquelyn joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first year summer student in 2017 and will return for her second summer in 2018. She is enrolled in the Juris Doctor program at the University of Toronto where she volunteers as a caseworker at the Advocates for Injured Workers clinic. In 2018, Jacquelyn, with her partner, won the Gordon F. Henderson Award for the best appellant factum, and was a semi-finalist, in the 2018 Harold G. Fox Moot.

Prior to law school, Jacquelyn attended Queen’s University, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree. She also spent a semester studying abroad at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. After graduating, Jacquelyn completed a 12-month rotational internship with the Royal Bank of Canada where she worked as a Human Resources Associate.

In her spare time, Jacquelyn enjoys playing intramural basketball, volleyball, and inner-tube water polo.
