Duncan Burns-Shillington

Duncan joined Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a first year summer law student, returned for his second summer, and articles with the firm in 2016-2017. Recently graduated from the Juris Doctor program at Queen’s University Faculty of Law, Duncan made Dean’s Honour List and is a double course prize winner (Property Law and Advocacy on Motions). At law school, Duncan was involved with the Queen’s Law Journal, the Labour & Employment Law Club, and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Prior to law school, Duncan graduated with Distinction from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations, and spent a year in the Office of the Chief HR Officer of the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.

A travel and sports enthusiast, Duncan is still coming to terms with living in the home city of the Maple Leafs (Editor’s note: he’ll get over it…)
