Ashley B. Brown

Ashley is a skilled lawyer whose practice is dedicated to providing proactive and practical advice and representation to management in many areas of employment and labour law, including:

Ashley chairs the firm’s Education and Public Sector Group, regularly conducts seminars and speaks at conferences about employment and labour issues, and has taught employment law at Conestoga College.

Prior to joining Sherrard Kuzz LLP, Ashley practiced labour and employment law on the management side at one of southeastern Ontario’s premier full-service law firms. While at law school, she received several awards for academic achievement.

Ashley is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association (Labour & Employment, Education, Civil Litigation, Constitutional, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, Workers’ Compensation, Young Lawyers) and Law Society of Upper Canada. Ashley also serves as a volunteer member of the University of Toronto Social Sciences and Humanities Research Ethics Board.
